Ferdowsi Square is surrounded with security trucks. The south part of the Square is occupied by disciplinary forces while Basij forces with motorcycles occupy the northern part of it. From here to College Bridge security forces can be seen stationed in very short distances from each other. Yet again, youth ages 14 and 15 can also be seen with batons in their hands. The population of people is increasing, moving towards Azadi Square. Traffic police has been hassling vehicles. Plain clothed security forces on motorbikes have been using the express bus lane while anti-protest police are stationed at the four-ways.
Daneshju Park at Valiasr Square looks like a military camp. What is interesting is that plain-clothed forces are using high end vehicles such as Camry’s and Land cruisers with no license plate.
